SOFT DATA
Ajisen Ramen is a Japanese fast-food restaurant specialising in ramen noodle soup dishes. The logo features a little girl ‘Chii-chan’ which they use on their products and stores. Ajisen (China) Holdings Limited is the sole franchisee of Japan’s Ajisen in China, listed since 2007 on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Since its inception in 1996, Ajisen Ramen has had a strong presence in China, combining Chinese culinary preferences with Japanese-style ramen and adding elements of fast food and traditional restaurants. Their signature dish is a rich Tonkutsu soup – a pork broth made from slow boiling the pork for hours.
The chain operates four production centres in China, located in Shanghai, Tianjin, Dongguan and Chengdu. The centers distribute to their other outlets and have the capacity to support up to 1,800 restaurants, plus seven manufacturing and processing centres in other key cities.
