Started as a traditional supermarket chain in Fujian, Yonghui is now the 4th largest FMCG retailers in China. Supermarket is Yonghui's core business. The company operates two major supermarket brands, Yonghui Superstores (so-called red label store) and Bravo YH (so-called green label store). Yonhui is also actively exploring new formats such as YH mini, YH Bravo, Super Species and YH Lifestyle to cover different occasions and segments.

Yonghui Superstore targets the mass market while Bravo YH targets the mid to high-income group and offers more premium products. Yonghui is reportedly increasing the proportion of its Bravo YH stores in its brand portfolio by either converting some of red label stores into green labeled stores, or opening new stores.

Yonghui Yunchuang Technology, formerly a subsidiary of Yonghui Superstores, was spun off into a standalone company as part of a restructuring within the Yonghui group. Yunchuang Technology currently owns Super species(fresh products and catering experiences), Yonghui Life(convenient stores and O2O delivery) and Yonghui Mini (community fresh supermarket), all exploring new formats to cover different shopping occasions and segments.
