Ganso is a bakery chain founded by Taiwanese business woman Ms Zhang Xiuwan in 1980s and established their Mainland Headquarter in Shanghai in 1993. In 2016 Ganso listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange. As of early 2020 Ganso has over 600 outlets across 120 cities in China. Ganso is a vertical integrated bakery player that develops, manufactures and sells wide varieties of Chinese and western style of cakes and bakery products. In 2012 Ganso started offering "127" free service which means 1 minute to order online, 2 hours to free deliver to customer's location within 7 kilometre of distance. Over time Ganso has successfully established extensive sales network both offline and online via JD, Tmall, Wechat and other third party channels. It has also achieved good sales performance via channels of gift market and corporate purchase channel.
