Taking the spotlight of Shanghai, YH Super Species have stores in Fuzhou, Nanjing, Xiamen, Shenzhen and Beijing. A smaller-sized supermarket launched by leading supermarket chain operator Yonghui Superstores. Similar to HeMa and RISO, YH Super Species focus on a predominantly fresh product range and offer in-store catering on top of retail with “corners” serving different foods on site like fish & sushi corner, beef corner etc. customers choose their cut of beef and watch the starff cook it on the spot. Also in line with Hema, they have an app and can deliver within 30 mins to locations within 3-km and some of their stores have their own distribution centers.
Super Species has constantly tries to transform retail with technology. From QR code payment to facial recognition payment to UAV-based food delivery, super species has been working to make things easier for users.
